AA Zimbabwe’s comprehensive technical department is and highly recommendable. We will inspect members vehicles and give vehicle valuations for a nominal fee. Qualified staff will give the vehicle a thorough inspection which includes literally hundreds of check-points, a road test and issue a written confidential report on its condition, saving buyers a great deal of unnecessary worries and expenses. Technical advice, assistance in garage disputes, estimates and quotations together with general advice on vehicles to suit the personal needs of members, is given FREE of charge.

Roadworthy inspection
This is the inspection which will be carried out strictly to check for roadworthiness compliance excluding any other defects
PPI- Pre-Purchase Inspection
It is an inspection carried out on a motor vehicle prior to sale and is more accurate above any other inspections, highlighting even cosmetic defects to guide the buyer accordingly.
Post-accident
This inspection is carried out to a vehicle after accident defects repairs, to verify whether the repairs were done according to the set standards.
General inspection
Normally carried out to identify defects on a vehicle, when intending to send it for repairs so that you know off hand what is needed to be done and the costs involved before committing yourself
Maximum of 3 checks will be done absolutely and guarantee good workmanship.
Insurance
This inspection is normally requested by insurance companies for car insurance purposes.

G.V.M- GROSS VEHICLE MASS
- Calculation of the missing details from your registration book and give a certificate for G.V.M as prescribed by the law.
