Business membership

This class of membership is available to any business house which operates two or more private type vehicles registered under company name but driven by any member of staff. (For 2 to 10 vehicles the subscription is US$90 per vehicle per annum, while above 10 vehicles the fee will be reduced to US$70 per vehicle per annum. This class has the kilometre radius of 120km and enjoys all the above mentioned benefits.

1. Business Membership is open to firms with two or more private-type vehicles, registered in the name of the firm. Vehicles acceptable are limited to: sedans, saloons, station wagons and light pick-ups to 1 tonne carrying capacity. Heavy commercial vehicles are not eligible neither are taxis, or vehicles registered in the name of employees.
2. Under Business Membership, the Association regards a vehicle, as distinct from an individual, as being the “unit” of membership.
3. All the benefits of Business Membership are conferred on any authorised driver of any private vehicle which has been registered with the Association by its registration number.
4. Business members or their employees do not have voting rights at the Annual General meetings as stipulated in the Constitution.
